PROGRAM OVERVIEW
To break the cycle of poverty in North Texas, we have to help people help themselves. By enabling people who currently have low incomes to take charge of their lives and their finances, we help them make a better life for their families. By 2020, we can help 250,000 more people leave poverty permanently.
The United Way Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Program empowers low- to moderate-income families to become financially stronger, more self-sufficient and successful.
Since the program's inception, volunteers have prepared over 16,000 returns and put more than $25 million back into the pockets of hard-working Dallas families by filing returns and helping them take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit.
A few hours a week will make a big difference and get hardworking families the tax refunds they deserve.
